The ethical shopping for babies blog
This blog has been set up to be a source of information and advise for green and ethically minded parents. Run in conjunction with our sister site Babi Pur this website is here to provide consumers with real and personal experiences of the various eco products now available for babies and young children and everyone else. Reviews of products are provided by our friends, our customers and us.
We will be posting any relevant ethical issues and anything that pops into our heads that we think people might find interesting. Please feel free to leave comments and submit your own experience
Who are we?
We are husband and wife Peter and Jolene. We live in beautiful part of the Wales on the edge of Snowdonia and we are Mum and Dad to two little girls, Harriet 4 and Isabelle 2. We set up the online baby store www.babipur.co.uk back in 2007. Initially the business was run from home by Jolene however as the business has grown Peter has given up work to help run Babipur full time. We no longer work from home (thank goodness!) and we've recently opened a shop in our local town Porthmadog and have seperate storage for our internet stock. We employ one member of staff 'Jackie' to work in the shop full time - Jolene works two days a week and spends the other 5 with the children and Peter has an office above the shop making sure the website is run smoothly! It's hard work.. and it's hard to juggle family and work but we're really enjoying it!
