Thanks for letting me know the inserts were on their way, they arrived shortly after and they’re great! no leakage, but they do tend to scrunch up a bit in the central section in between the baby’s legs. seems to do the job though! Very useful for going out and about and away for holidays.

    Thanks,

Very thin and fairly absorbant, tended to get squashed a bit when wet though. I have used these as an additional booster inside my son’s night nappy together with the organic Flip insert! I will buy these again.

We used them folded like a prefold ‘boy style’ into wraps with an umbilical cord cut out for our newborn whilst in the birthing centre and would highly recommend them for this purpose. They did a great job of containing the meconium and first explosive breastfed poohs and proved a good ‘introduction’ into cloth nappies for us as a means of easing gently into a washing routine once home.
I would absolutely recommend them for a newborn but they do seem as though they would be a little thin to be absorbent enough for an older baby.
Our baby was a healthy 8lb 4 so I can’t comment on how they might fit a smaller newborn, but we didn’t have any leg gape. Hope this is helpful to someone! I think it’s such a nicer alternative to having their first nappies as ‘sposies 🙂

Flip disposibles are great, very absorbant and slim lined, taking up less room in the changing bag and fitting the baby well. I will definatley buy more! A great idea.

I initially used Bumgenius all in one’s, which are great. However the Bumgenius flip exceeded my expectations. They are small, convenient and surprisingly reliable. A great buy and i will be buying more 🙂

I’m very impressed with these disposable inserts. Have used them a few times on our newborn boy (the flip nappy fits him well btw) Last night we decided to try the flip with 2 disposable inserts on our 4 year old daughter, she has a wet nappy every night and we’re always changing her bed due to leaks. This morning she had a very heavy wet nappy but no leaks – also I was surprised that the Flip nappy fit her and she’s 4! I’ve recommended these to my friends and I will be buying more.

We use flip disposables on the days we are out and about for a long time and couldn’t fit enough of our normal reusables in the bag. They are way more absorbent then they look. They are also make a very thin nappy so are good for under some of the cloths we have that are not designed for babies in proper nappies. we will also be using these when we go away for a weekend and don’t have washing facilities
