The Raw Chocolate Company at Babipur

The Raw Chocolate Company

We are very excited here at Babipur Towers to announce that we are now stocking the entire range from The Raw Chocolate Company. Their multi-award winning vegan, organic, fairtrade, and kosher Chocolate is pretty special and we think you are going to love it too. In 2006, the company founder Linus, experimented with his passion for the raw food diet, combined with his love for raw cacao, and The Raw Chocolate Company began. They have since won many awards across Europe and beyond, and when you taste it, you will see why!

Linus is the founder of The Raw Chocolate Company and all round chocolate Jedi-master

The raw chocolate company really know their chocolate, but they are devoted to looking after our planet and all that lives on it. The key to raw cooking is that no ingredients are cooked above 42 degrees. This is also a positive from an energy conservation perspective. Less energy means less overall impact on our environment.

Handmade in Brighton in small batches, using only the finest and, of course, Fairtrade certified ingredients. They painstakingly source only the very finest ingredients and won’t give up until the very best has been found. It took them five years to find a Goji berry they were happy with!!

With supermarkets and chocolate brands moving away from the Fairtrade label, we decided to source some ethical chocolate and snacks. The Fairtrade label is important because it helps to make cocoa farming more sustainable by ensuring farmers get paid the Fairtrade Premium. This premium is used to invest in business or community projects and is often the only way that farmers can provide for themselves and their communities.

Here at Babipur, sustainability is very important to us, even down to our packaging methods. The Raw Chocolate Company use recycled paper with vegetable based inks for packaging. From soil association certified ingredients, to thoughtful packaging, we are confident they share our passion for ethical trading and sustainability.

Raw Chocolate Mini Bars

The delicious range of mini bars have something to suit all tastes. The majority are made with 70% or above cocoa content, so you can guarantee a deliciously distinctive treat. Available flavours are Mint with Xylitol, Orange with Xylitol (both sugar free), Salted Vanoffee Hazelnut, Original Vanoffee®, Pitch Dark, and Vanoffee Dark.

The Raw Chocolate Company’s original Vanoffee® recipe is the creation of a blend of Peruvian lucuma, cocoa butter, and Ugandan vanilla, resulting in a creamy vegan delight. Lucuma adds a malty, biscuity-like sweetness, and is a Peruvian wonderfruit. Coconut blossom sugar is used as a natural sweetener, made from the nectar of the coconut flower, which has an innate butterscotch undertone. Providing a dairy-free, fair trade alternative to white chocolate.

Raw Chocolate Snacks

These delectable delights come in either 25g or a 110g sharing (if you feel like it!) bag. A range of raw chocolate-coated nuts and berries that are simply divine. Raw chocolate raisins, goji berries, mulberries, vanoffee mulberries, ginger, almonds, and golden berries are available. You won’t be disappointed.

Get Creative and Make Your Own!

The Raw Chocolate Company want you to get creative! We are stocking their amazing range of super foods so you can make your own chocolate, smoothies, breakfasts, and whatever other delicious treat you fancy. They have some great recipe ideas on their website if you need some inspiration. Challenge yourself to make some delicious creations and then come and tell us all about them in the Babipur Hangout.
