Babipur Pin Badges in Support of Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith

We Took Our Time…

Our Babipurian badges are finally here! We started the process of creating a our own Babipur pin badge back in 2016. It has taken us a little longer than expected, but we are incredibly excited that they are finally here, and we can share them with our amazing community! We hope you will agree that it has been worth the wait.

Babipur Community

Since Babipur began over ten years ago, we have proudly watched our community grow. Starting off small, a group of like-minded parents came together to share their love for cloth nappies, baby wearing, and beautiful clothes; providing support to each other to live a more ethical family lifestyle. We are very much part of our community and have learned a lot along the way with all of you.

Over the years we have seen our community grow and grow. We would never have imagined that we would have a supportive parenting network like Babipur Hangout, full of amazing people all on hand to provide support, advice and, of course, friendship. We love to hear about friendships that have developed in our community, and it is lovely to see local groups meeting regularly all over the UK.

Babipur in the Wild

On so many occasions we hear people say, “I saw a lady with a Klean Kanteen and her baby was wearing Frugi; are you in here?”…! So we knew we needed to create something that made it easy for our fellow Babipurians to connect in the wild, as well as online! This was the reason for creating a badge; so our supportive community can recognise each other, and make connections that might not otherwise be possible. We can’t wait to spot our first one!

Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith

Supporting charities, both locally and further afield, is something of great importance to Peter, Jolene, and all of Team Babipur. We are proud to say that profits from our Babipur Pin Badges will be donated to Hope House in Oswestry, and Tŷ Gobaith Children’s Hospice in Conwy. These hospices provide care and support to life-limited children, young people, and their families, from Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales.

They provide respite and end-of-life care both within the hospice setting, and also within the family home. Counselling, advocacy, and the promotion of children’s, young people’s, and carers’ rights, are examples of the services families access through Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith.

The hospices provide comfortable, homely environments, where families are offered support that includes physical, psychological, and spiritual care from a team including experienced doctors, nurses, and other care professionals.

Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith also offer antenatal and neonatal support to families who have a baby born from 24 weeks gestation who has a life threatening condition, or who has died. They also provide support to a family who have been given a life-limiting prognosis for their baby during the antenatal period.

These hospices provide a vast range of essential and supportive services to families when they need it most. Without charitable fundraising and donations, this care would not be possible. We are proud to support Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith, and would love you to join us in raising funds for this amazing charity.

All profits from our Babipur pin badges will go directly towards funding essential services and support at Hope House and Ty Gobaith. You can purchase a Babipurian Badge >here<
