Not sure where to start?

The thought of millions of used disposable nappies sitting in landfill for hundreds of years, refusing to biodegrade, is pretty disgusting. But what's the alternative? Huge, baby-swamping terry nappies that need to be boiled for hours and then dried for days on the line? Flip re-usable nappy system It's here!
It's coming soon and looks set to change the way with think about cloth nappies forever. The flip nappy system has been designed by the makers of bumGenius for parents on the go. So what's it all about?
The nappy consists of an outer shell with interchangeable inserts of microfibre and organic cotton. So when you change your baby you simply change the insert and re-use the outer shell. But the big news is there will be a DISPOSABLE insert! You heard correctly . . . . that's right, I said a 'disposable insert'. Unlike any other eco-disposable nappies on the market the flip nappy disposable insert will be made from 100% biodegradable material making the flip nappy system a genuine, easy to use, green alternative to nasty supermarket nappies. The disposable insert has already achieved Oeko-Tex certification and contains none of the chemicals commonly used in disposables.
So the idea is you buy some flip nappies with extra organic cotton or stay dry (microfibre) inserts for normal use, if you fall behind with the washing or you're going on holiday you can buy some disposable inserts to make life a bit easier when needed. Huggies and Pampers watch out. . . Cloth nappies just got a whole lot more flexible!
And because the flip nappy is made by those washable nappy experts 'bumGenius' it has all the features you's expect. Below we have a few pictures of what to expect.

We expect the flip nappy to hit the shelves in January and we're very. . . . very excited!
